Conducts research and performs competitive pricinganalysis. Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do notadversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction. Partners withSales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position productportfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategyand revenue recognition requirements. Evaluates opportunities to monetizeproducts offered initially at little to no cost or to create upsellopportunities as products are repositioned in the marketplace. Projects impactof pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricingproposals across the organization.This is an individual contributor role thatrequires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and isexpected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typicallyrequire a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledgegained through experience.
