Sr. M Sales Advocate

We’re actively seeking a talented Sr. M Sales Advocate to join our M Internal Sales Team in Newport Beach, CA (Hybrid: 4 days in office and 1 day remote). Responsibilities Proactively manage and resolve life insurance submissions from initial submission through paying the case. Maintain or exceed established conversion and placement metrics. Prepare and participate in weekly M territory sales meetings. Set proper expectations with financial professionals and their teams. Advocate and negotiate offers with M Underwriters on behalf of financial professionals using consultative and listening skills to direct sales. Manage escalations to steer underwriters to important cases that require prioritization (relooks, rushes, sensitive cases, and SLAs). Proactively build and strengthen relationships with financial professionals and their staff to influence decisions that will increase sales. Work with financial professionals and the sales team to develop an understanding of the purpose of the sale and position against competition. Collaborate with the M Team to meet or exceed territory and team goals. Provide concierge service and training to internal and external partners (M Team, Financial Professionals, and their staff). Identify and recommend process improvements. Work closely with internal and external sales teams to increase sales. Serve as a resource for product questions, as needed. Generate and customize Salesforce reports, update Salesforce with current underwriting offers and case notes, and generate status reports for management, financial professionals, and others as needed. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical and financial underwriting concepts. Understanding of the life insurance new business process. Product knowledge (traditional and PPLI). Detail-oriented self-starter with a growth mindset. Adaptable and comfortable managing change. Thrives in a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of life insurance industry experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Salesforce. Compensation Base Pay Range: $93,600.00 – $114,400.00 (actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and geographic location). Eligible for additional incentive pay.
