CATERING ATTENDANT (ON CALL)

About the Position We are hiring immediately for on‑call Catering Attendant positions at the Babson Executive Conference Center (1 Woodlawn Hill Drive, Babson Park, MA 02457). Online applications only. Schedule: On‑call schedule; days and hours may vary. More details available upon interview. Pay: $17.00–$17.50 per hour. Job Summary Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during their shift, may drive a catering delivery truck, set up and serve at functions, cleans event area during and after events, breaks down the set‑up, and returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility timely. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables and decorations. Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean location after event is completed. Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean and maintain catering facility and equipment. Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.
