As an LPN Medication Nurse, you provide licensed nursing support through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. What You’ll Do: • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders • Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration • Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time • Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief • Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly • Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) • Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates • Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes • Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory adherence. The webpage must maintain up to date information and explain the background screening process through the clearinghouse, Level 2 screening requirements, fingerprinting procedures, and include a searchable job catalog, disqualifying offenses, exemption steps, and a downloadable checklist with timelines and details of the process. Additionally, the bill requires all specified agencies to prominently link to this resource from their websites and require the inclusion of the link in all job postings by qualified entities
