Manufacturing Automation Specialist (West Point site) General Responsibilities Work independently and as a team member while complying with Integrity, Precision, Accomplishment, Motivational Ambition, Respect, and Inclusion. Comply with global policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and cGMP in day-to-day activities. Design, implement, test, and close out change controls for corrective actions and continuous improvement. Build relationships with business stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues. Lead or participate in investigations of incidents/problems and implement corrective actions. Stay current with automation technologies/trends and recommend adoption. Skill Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with colleagues at all levels. Preferred Skills GMP manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical/biotech. Familiarity with computer system validation (CSV) and regulatory GxP. Aseptic/sterile manufacturing experience. Technical experience with DeltaV DCS, Allen-Bradley PLC, SCADA, HMI, ASi/Field/Profibus, or related technologies. Networking, virtual machines, database management, and IT administration. Data analytics tools such as Power BI. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/CS/Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical or related) + 2 years in process automation or instrument validation. OR Associate’s degree + 3 years. OR High school diploma + 6 years.
