Research Associate II

Research Associate with Master's in Cell & Molecular Biology or Pharmaceutical Sciences and 4+ years of drug discovery experience. Must have mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, RNA extraction, RT-qPCR/qPCR, in vitro screening, and data analysis. Preferred: siRNA/RNAi, primary human adipocyte/hepatocyte culture, organoids, and 3D cell culture systems. Must-Have Requirements Master's degree in Cell & Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences , or a related field. 4+ years of laboratory experience in drug discovery (industry or academia preferred). Strong hands-on experience with: Mammalian cell culture (Top Skill #1) Cell-based assays (Top Skill #2) Quantitative Real-Time PCR (RT-qPCR) (Top Skill #3) RNA extraction Cellular and molecular biology techniques Experience performing and analyzing in vitro screening assays . Ability to analyze experimental data and present findings. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills siRNA/RNAi drug discovery experience Hit identification and lead optimization Primary human adipocyte and hepatocyte culture Organoids and 3D cell culture systems Experience supporting therapeutic/drug development programs Literature review and scientific research interpretation What the Manager Will Focus On During Screening Mammalian Cell Culture – What cell lines have they cultured? How independently? Cell-Based Assays – Types of assays performed (viability, proliferation, reporter assays, etc.). RNAi/siRNA Experience – Transfection methods, screening, knockdown validation.
