The role demands physical stamina as you will perform strenuous activities and lift up to 50 pounds.Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to analyze situations and make responsible decisions are also key traits. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, is necessary, and all applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid Colorado driver’s license.Knowledge and skills required for the position are: Must be able to learn animal control regulationslaws and ordinances. Must stay informed on health issuesnew lawsand animal control methods.Must have a genuine liking for animals and concern for their welfare and enjoy interacting with the public.Must be able to work around animals that may eventually be euthanized.
