Formal Verification Engineer

Salary: $145,600 - 166,400 per year Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in formal verification, RTL verification, and validation
• Strong knowledge of formal verification methodologies, property checking, and model-checking tools
• Hands-on experience with formal verification tools and verification infrastructure
• Solid understanding of ASIC or SoC verification environments and architectures
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Participate in functional verification of complex ASICs and IP cores for CPU and GPU development projects
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to understand and verify design functionality in the system context
• Develop, execute, and document formal verification plans, including directed and constrained-random tests
• Use industry-standard verification methodologies and tools to assess design correctness
• Lead verification activities from planning through signoff, ensuring comprehensive coverage and defect resolution

We are recruiting a Formal Verification Engineer for a client in the semiconductor industry. The role is part of the Verification Department and supports ASIC and SoC verification efforts. It is based onsite in Santa Clara, California, with 100% remote work available for a strong candidate. The pay range is $70–$80 per hour on W-2.
