Job Summary:

Our LPNs are responsible for providing direct nursing care, supervising day-to-day nursing activities, and ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants

• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer, and/or discharge

• Receive and transcribe telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physician’s Order Form

• Chart nurse notes in an informative and descriptive manner

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians

• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift

  Essential Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure

• Current CPR Certification

• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred

• Ability to work 12 hours a shift
