Export Shipping Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Export Shipping Clerk to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our international outbound operations, ensuring that all global shipments are accurately prepared, documented, and compliant with international trade laws. Responsibilities

As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities
expected of the Export Shipping Clerk position.
• These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change.
• Prepare shipping paperwork for both domestic & export orders.
• Prepare and process export documentation, including customs declarations and
shipping instructions.
• Coordinate with shipping companies and freight forwarders to arrange the
transportation of goods.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and laws in various jurisdictions.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Communicate with customs authorities to resolve any clearance issues.
• Maintain records of all export transactions and prepare reports as needed.
• Prepare items for shipments according to customer specifications and delivery dates.
• Pull and stage material according to the bill-of-lading.
• Use precision when operating tools such as tape measures and micrometers.
• Obtain proof of identity from carriers and appropriate signatures on bill-of-lading.
• Drive a forklift through the plant to move material and skids to designated areas.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
