Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Cypress, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:30 - 15:00

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in vascular and robotic cases, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse surgical team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing various surgical procedures including CABG, AAA, ECMO, and robotic surgeries.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Maintain surgical equipment and ensure the operating room is safe and sterile.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team and assist in patient care pre- and post-operatively.
• Participate in call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience in cardiovascular and robotic surgical cases.
• Candidates with endovascular experience and moderate sedation experience are preferred.
