We look forward to welcoming you to the Tri Tool family.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on all production equipment, including manual and CNC machines, mills, lathes, grinding equipment, and other precision mechanical systems with high-precision bearingsDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues to minimize downtimeTroubleshooting PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.Assist in troubleshooting complex machinery problems and implement effective solutionsInstall, and maintain electrical systems, including both low voltage (as low as 5 volts) and high voltage (up to 480 volts).Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standardsHandle and dispose of waste fluids in accordance with safety procedures.Collaborate with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruptionSupport the installation, calibration, and set up of new machinery and equipmentEnsure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and proceduresRequirementsTwo or more years of equipment maintenance and electrical systems experience, within a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and understand construction, electrical, and equipment drawings and schematicsElectrical experience with both low voltage (as low as 5 volts) and high voltage (up to 480 volts)Experience or certification with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systemsExperience working on hydraulic and pneumatic control systemsExperience working with precision mechanical components, including high-precision bearingsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentBasic computer literacy for entering and retrieving information using standard business softwareStrong customer service skills to respond to coworker or supervisor inquiries and escalate complex matters appropriatelyAbility to build effective working relationships with staff, customers, and others.Clear communication skills to convey instructions and follow written and verbal directionsFlexibility to adapt to changing work prioritiesDemonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and common-sense skillsAbility to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a teamKnowledge of Cal/OSHA and OSHA safety regulations (preferred)Mathematical ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations (preferred)Education Requirements· High School Diploma or GED· Technical or other relevant trainingCertificates or Licenses RequiredThe following may be required depending on local, state, or contract requirements:· Valid Driver's LicensePhysical RequirementsEmployees must be able to perform the following physical activities for extended periods, with or without assistance:· Maneuvering in and around equipment· Bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and crawling· Pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds· Climbing ladders and step stools as neededWork EnvironmentWork is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with forklifts, material handling, and production equipment, as well as in an office setting.
