Job Title: First Assist Profession: Surgical Assistant Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 17:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: CSTFA, CFA, RNFA Must-Have: Knowledge and skills to assist surgeons during various surgical procedures, including orthopedic trauma, orthopedic, spine, neurosurgery, gynecology, general surgery, robotics, and vascular surgery. Description: This position requires advanced skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. The surgical unit features normal operating room equipment, including advanced technologies such as robotic systems. You will be responsible for assisting with a diverse range of procedures, including orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, general surgery, robotics, vascular, pediatrics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, oral maxillofacial, dental, and eye trauma. Documentation is managed through a designated electronic system. Flexibility in scheduling and availability for on-call duties is expected. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure optimal patient care. Proper scrub attire is provided for this role. It is essential to adhere to unit-specific guidelines and policies during your assignment.
