School Nutrition Services Worker Grade II (Part-Time)

Township High School District 214 is looking for part-time School Nutrition Services Workers Grade II. You will work 5 hours each day that students are in school. The pay starts at $17.79 per hour. You might work at one of these schools: Buffalo Grove High School, Elk Grove High School, John Hersey High School, Prospect High School, Rolling Meadows High School, Wheeling High School, Forest View Educational Center.

You will work with the food service manager. Your duties will include: helping prepare and handle food safely and cleanly, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, serving food to students and staff, working as a cashier and keeping good records for the food service.

You should be able to: lift at least 40 pounds (this is about the weight of a large bag of flour or sugar), stand for 5 hours without stopping, bend, stoop (bend down), and reach often, work in places that can be hot, cold, or wet. You should also be able to change quickly to new situations.
