Public Adjuster Opportunity
Harrison Gray Search has partnered with one of the largest public adjusting firms in the country, which is seeking an experienced Public Adjuster. This client has been around for over eighty years with eleven offices and manages property damage insurance claims after natural and man-made disasters. Our client has a deep bench of talented adjusters, offers competitive pay and benefits, has incredible longevity amongst the team, and is family-run and operated. This position is fully remote - with a preference for someone on the East Coast.
The Public Adjuster will advocate for the policyholder when major disasters hit their business, commercial property, or home.
We are seeking individuals with:
- 10+ years of insurance experience
- Ideal - Background as a Public Adjuster
- Strong community ties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with very high-profile clientele
- Proven work track record of adjusting first-party property claims
- Proven work track record of evaluating coverages (building and contents) on first-party property claims
- Active Public Adjuster License or ability to attain and maintain
- Experience in using Xactimate

- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and command results
- Ability to travel to loss locations, clients, or insurer sites is a must
