Make a meaningful impact by providing crucial occupational therapy services to high school students for the entire 22/23 academic year. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity in the San Jose area, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll play a vital role in helping students succeed both academically and in daily living skills, working collaboratively with staff and families.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in California
• Experience in school settings highly preferred
• Background in home health, teletherapy, or broader healthcare OT also valued
• Previous involvement with high school aged students beneficial
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Organized and adaptable mindset for dynamic educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a high school caseload onsite throughout the school year
• Assess students’ needs, develop individualized intervention plans, and document progress in accordance with IEP requirements
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
• Engage in IEP meetings, collaboratively setting and updating therapy objectives
• Contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team to create supportive, inclusive learning environments
• Maintain thorough, timely records and reports to meet compliance standards
