RN - Med/Tele
Location: Brockton, MA Duration: 3 months Contract Schedule: 7p-7a (48 hours per week) Hourly rate: $51/hr - $61/hr on W2 (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients from newborn to geriatric populations.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely.
- Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to physicians.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout treatment.
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act.
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and ethical nursing practice.
- Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Telemetry experience with rhythm interpretation required.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced patient care environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR.
