Tech Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality cardiac images.
  
  
• 
  Prepare patients by positioning, applying gels, attaching electrodes, and verifying signals.
  
  
• 
  Interact with patients, review medical histories, and adjust imaging techniques accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Perform echocardiograms on treadmill patients to evaluate cardiac performance.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and organize imaging equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document patient data and imaging results accurately in medical records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent; certification may be required for some roles.
  
  
• 
  Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or CCI.
  
  
• 
  Echocardiography (ECG) certification is preferred.
  
  
• 
  Valid BLS or CPR certification from an approved provider.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 5 years of recent experience performing echocardiography.
  
  
• 
  Strong technical skills and ability to collaborate effectively with medical teams.
