Our client industry leading manufacturer and supplier of nutritional supplements! They are growing and are looking for additional leadership support in the accounting department!

• Office hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (some flex)
• Not a bonus potential for this position as of today
• Benefits/costs attached; also on-site gym and employee product purchase at 80% of retail value
• PTO: 18 days are accrued the first year and then front-loaded at the beginning of next full year; after 5 years = 25 days and after 10 years = 33 days

Job Details

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. This role will focus heavily on General Ledger (GL) accounting and GL reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and perform monthly GL close activities

Prepare and review account reconciliations

Analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness

Support internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/distribution, retail, or related industry

Strong knowledge of GL accounting and reconciliations

Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
