Temporary Front Desk Coverage –Nonprofit Organization
Location: Chicago, IL (River North)
Dates Needed: October 19-22nd
Pay: $17/hour
A mission-driven nonprofit organization based in Chicago is seeking a temporary front desk professional to provide coverage during a short-term staff absence. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking flexible, short-term work in a welcoming and inclusive office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and route phone calls promptly and accurately
- Maintain front desk organization and security protocols
- Support basic administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
This role is for a four-day assignment only (October 19-October 22) and pays $17/hour .
