Licensed Insurance Sales Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Ken Jones – State Farm Agency is seeking a motivated Licensed Insurance Sales Representative to join our team in Ridgeland, MS. This position combines insurance sales, lead follow-up, customer relationship management, and policy service. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, identifying insurance needs, recommending appropriate coverage, and building lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Follow up with prospective customers and existing leads
• Develop leads and schedule insurance appointments
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
• Provide insurance quotes and explain coverage options
• Market and cross-sell State Farm insurance products
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Follow up with customers regarding quotes, policies, and service needs
• Assist customers with questions about coverage, eligibility, billing, policy changes, transfers, and claims-related concerns
• Maintain accurate customer and policy information
• Meet individual and team sales goals
• Deliver professional, responsive, and friendly customer service

Compensation and Benefits

• $45,000–$65,000 annual total compensation

What We're Looking For

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Life & Health insurance license preferred
• Previous insurance sales or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify customer needs and explain insurance options clearly
• Comfortable working toward sales goals
• Self-motivated, organized, and dependable
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
• Experience in insurance sales, State Farm, financial services, retail sales, inside sales, outside sales, or other customer-facing sales roles is a plus.

Work Schedule

• Full-time
• In-office position in Ridgeland, MS
• Monday–Friday schedule
