Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Pleasanton, California. The role involves providing direct, evidence-based patient care within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory standards, and hospital policies. The ICU nurse will assess patients, develop individualized care plans, collaborate with healthcare team members, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, valid in California.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior ICU experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The ICU nurse will create a healing environment by providing emotional support, managing patient discomforts, and guiding patients and families through recovery or passing. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, implementing interventions, patient education, team collaboration, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves continuous professional development, utilizing technology for communication and documentation, and contributing to team education and professional growth.
