Traffic Control Shop Laborer – Hiring for Minneapolis

Warning Lites of MN is expanding our team. We are looking to hire highly motivated individuals as TC Shop Laborer . Whether it is working in the warehouse or loading/unloading trucks, these key employees keep our day-to-day operations on track.

The Role:

As a Traffic Control Shop Laborer , your responsibilities will include performing shop work as required including preparing orders, cleaning and repairing equipment, and general housekeeping.

TC Shop Laborer don't mind the Minnesota weather and have a high regard for safety and excellent customer service. Successful candidates enjoy the physical demands of the position, are highly self-motivated, detailed, and take initiative to get the job done right while managing multiple tasks at once. We provide on-the-job training for the tasks that the TC Shop Laborer will need to perform but we do require the following:

• Ability to work long hours during Spring/Summer/Fall months
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and an occasional holiday
• Must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects (70+ pounds) frequently and repetitively, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
• Must have the ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Must have working knowledge of English sufficient to read, write, speak and understand oral and written information
• Organize and clean the shop/work area
• Ability to work with hand tools/power tools
• Experience in performing manual labor
• Maintaining safety compliance in the shop and yard
• Other duties as assigned by management

Preferred:

• 3+ years of overall, consistent work experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Forklift experience or the ability to obtain one
