Finishing 33: Needler OperatorFunctions:Operate Needle Machine and control panelsSew in and Doff A-frames or buggiesVerify production ticketsMaintain a clean, orderly and safe work areaOther duties as assignedEquipment Used: Needle machine, pneumatic needle punch, soft face hammer, sewing machine, air hose, broom, razor knifeRequirements: Must be able to read and write. Lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to continuously walk, bend, push, pull, stoop, stretch (arms and legs) and lift arms above head level while standing on cement floor. Not permitted outside of your assigned work area without your supervisor’s knowledge.Safety:Hearing protection (when in required manufacturing areas) (company provided)Safety glasses (when in required manufacturing areas) (company provided)Use of proper lifting proceduresGeneral housekeeping rulesMust complete and follow all required positional safety training***This reflects general details considered necessary to describe the principle function of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the requirements that may be inherent in the job.
