Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Laredo, Texas, at a healthcare provider facility. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services using computed tomography (CT) technology under departmental protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two years of clinical experience as a CT Technologist; graduation from an accredited American Medical Association (AMA) school; certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); state licensure as a general radiographer; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates must have a General Radiographer (MRT/TMB) license, be registered with ARRT, and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical record systems (e.g., CERNER).
- Additional Information: The position requires float capabilities, and candidates must be more than 50 miles from the facility. Travel submissions must include a permanent home address and Social Security Number (SS#). Previous experience with procedures such as CT scans of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures is expected. Responsibilities include performing a variety of radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm procedures, and operating in sterile surgical environments.
