HR Generalist Active - Regular full-time Exempt Winchester, MA, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1176 Salary Range: $63,000.00 To $99,000.00 Annually SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The HR Generalist supports the full employee lifecycle, including payroll, benefits, leave administration, recruiting, and compliance. This role serves as the primary ADP subject matter expert, ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing and reliable HRIS data. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP, including time and attendance review, deductions, garnishments, and off-cycle payments. Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity in ADP; run and analyze reports. Manage new hire, status change, and termination transactions from start to finish. Administer benefits enrollment, open enrollment, life events, and COBRA. Track and coordinate leave of absences with third-party administrator; process related payments via ADP payroll. Coordinate recruiting, including job postings, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding. Build and maintain ADP workflows related to onboarding, benefits enrollment, performance reviews, annual salary increases, and bonuses. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, and support audits and required filings. Prepare HR metrics, payroll reconciliations, and year-end reporting (W-2s, ACA). Lead employee wellness programs via BCBS and Banking on Wellness channels. Help develop and update policies, handbooks, and HR communications. SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience Extensive hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now or equivalent) for both payroll and HRIS, including configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of FLSA, MA PFML, ADA, ACA, EEO, and state wage-and-hour and leave laws. Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in a multi-location and/or regulated environment (e.g., financial services), preferred. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
