The Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within the premises during the day shift. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, waste disposal, sanitization, and keeping the grounds in optimal condition using standard cleaning tools. The Custodian works independently to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks throughout the facility.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables properly.
- Sanitize surfaces and restrooms regularly.
- Maintain grounds and outdoor areas.
- Operate standard cleaning equipment efficiently.
- Work independently to complete daily tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in custodial work.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment use.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
