Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, compassionate care to our tiniest patients in a Level III NICU
• Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with confidence and expertise
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
• Float to Mother-Baby or L&D units to support newborns and their families during transition
• Follow AWHONN/NANN guidelines to deliver safe, evidence-based neonatal care
• Serve as a safety advocate when floating house-wide as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least three years of NICU experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working independently with neonatal populations
• Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management and central line care
• Neonatal assessment and family-centered care
• Floating between NICU, Mother-Baby, and L&D units
• AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines and best practices
