TESS- Journeyman AMDOTS System/Network AdministratorClearance: Secret level clearance minimumLocation: Peterson Space Force Base, CO.U.S.Citizenship required.Position Summary: Journeyman systems/network administrator responsible for managing and controlling AMDOTS IT equipment and supporting secure, available, recoverable, and high-performing system/network operations.Primary ResponsibilitiesSet up, configure, administer, maintain, and support internal and external networks and server operating systems.Create and test data backups and support system recoverability, disaster recovery, and contingency planning.Verify data/system integrity and define or implement database and system access controls.Maintain system/network availability and performance; troubleshoot performance issues and recommend corrective actions.Enforce system security, maintain system-administration policies, configuration-control/management plans, and mission-function system schemas.Perform system-wide integrity tests, apply required security vulnerability patches, install and maintain operating systems/applications, and provide system reports to the Government.Mandatory Qualifications - solicitation minimumsAt least 3 years of experience in internal/external network setup, configuration and support; network performance issues; operating-system installation and maintenance; and application installation and maintenance.U.S. citizenship.At least a Secret security clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience administering secure DoD networks and servers in classified environments.Experience with backup/recovery, vulnerability patching, access control, configuration management, system hardening, and network performance troubleshooting.Relevant DoD cybersecurity or system-administration certification(s).ABOUT US:Constellation West is an award-winning company that delivers Information Technology (IT) engineering services and solutions and non-IT subject matter expertise worldwide.
