In this job, you\u2019ll supervise Substation Maintenance Electricians and/or Apprentice Substation Electricians in the performance of their duties as they relate to construction, maintenance, test, repair and operation of substation equipment. Responsibilities

• Directs crews engaged in complex, hazardous electrical work on high-voltage substation equipment.
• Ensures full compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies including company safety standards and procedures.
• Leads by example to foster a proactive safety culture and promote Safety Citizenship.
• Conducts field observations to validate practices, identify hazards and reinforce safe behaviors.
• Plans schedules and oversees preventive and corrective maintenance to support asset reliability and performance.
• Develops and implements data strategies to improve asset data quality and enable condition-based maintenance.
• Collaborates across engineering operations and procurement to assess asset performance and apply reliability-centered maintenance.
• Leads and coordinates response efforts during emergency incidents to ensure safety and operational continuity.
• Drives team performance through coaching, training and evaluations.
• Manages tools, materials, vehicles and staffing to support efficient maintenance execution.
• A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical financial and cybersecurity assets and properly accessing and managing private customer data proprietary information confidential medical records and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience as a Journeyman Substation Electrician or five or more years of combined experience as a Journeyman Substation Electrician and other Substation Craft or Supervisor position.
• Must be a qualified Substation Operator.
• Must be a Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW).
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

\u00a0

• Three or more years of leadership experience with direct reports.
• Possess a valid Class A Driver\u2019s License.\u00a0
• Experience using MS Office Applications and SAP Work Management systems.\u00a0

• This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0 on-site . The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location.\u00a0 Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

• This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.\u00a0 Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
• Relocation does not apply to this position.
