Production TechnicianSpecialty Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing Company is seeking production technicians to join their team!Perform safe, cost effective, and timely manufacture of product that is fit for intended use and meets customer requirements and production schedule, in an aseptic environment, gowning in PPE with an air helmetComplete batch records in accordance with FDA and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelinesEnsure all production/support equipment is in proper operating condition and appropriately documented with current statusMix, blend, gather materials, lift 50 lb, push large reactors, and complete GMP documentationAdhere to shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 schedule, rotating every 4 weeks between days and nights, 5:45-6:15Participate in training program Mon-Fri 8-hour days for 4 weeks, then transition to assigned shiftHandle 8 hours of OT during long weeks and 36-hour weeks on short weeks, with eligibility for OT after 40 hoursHS diploma or BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fieldMinimum of 2 years of college credits with 5 years of experience in a chemical batch processing manufacturing facility1-5 years of GMP experience with weighing, blending, granulation in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of weights and measuring conversionsNo facial hair (must wear an air helmet), no claustrophobia, willing to wear respirator
