Strip and crimp wires using hand tools and pneumatic tools to meet specified standards.
Tin wires using a solder pot to prepare them for soldering and termination.
Perform precise soldering of wire-to-wire and wire-to-terminal connections, including work on circuit boards and PCB assemblies when required.
Insert terminated or crimped wires into connectors and housings according to specifications.
Route and secure wires on harness boards following drawings, layouts, and other specifications.
Handle, label, and organize all wires, connectors, and cables for assembled units to maintain traceability and order.
Assist in PCB assembly and PCB manufacturing-related tasks as needed, ensuring proper electrical connections and component placement.
Follow electrical and circuit-related requirements to ensure proper function of cable assemblies and power distribution builds.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in compliance with workplace safety standards and procedures.
Identify and report quality, process, equipment, or material issues to the appropriate leadership for corrective or preventive action.
Support continuous improvement by following established corrective and preventive action processes when quality issues arise.

Ability to operate and maintain hand tools, crimp tools, pneumatic tools, and assembly-line equipment.
Capability to route wires on harness boards and insert terminated or crimped wires into connectors according to specifications.
Strong attention to detail to handle, label, and organize wires, connectors, and cables accurately.
Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to work under a microscope for up to 8 hours to complete fine, detailed assembly work.
Commitment to following workplace safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Familiarity with electrical circuits, circuit boards, and power distribution assemblies is beneficial.
Experience with corrective and preventive action processes related to quality issues is a plus.
IPC Certification is preferred but not required.
Ability to work with low-volume, custom builds and adapt to varied product configurations.
Comfort working on products that support markets such as medical, military, and semiconductor industries.
Why Work Here?
You will join a stable, privately owned electronics contract manufacturer that supports a diverse mix of markets, including medical, military, semiconductor, and defense. The work focuses on low-volume, custom builds, giving you the opportunity to develop specialized skills in cable assembly, wiring assembly, and PCB assembly rather than repetitive high-volume production. The organization operates as a compact, approximately 80-person facility, which fosters close collaboration, clear communication, and a strong sense of teamwork. You will gain exposure to a wide range of assemblies, from cable and wiring builds to box builds and power distributors, allowing you to expand your technical capabilities and grow your career in a focused, hands-on environment.
Work Environment
The role is based in a small manufacturing facility with approximately 80 employees, operating on a single shift. The workday starts between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM and concludes after an 8-hour shift, with overtime typically available on Saturday mornings. The facility functions as an electronics contract manufacturing environment specializing in cable assemblies, wiring assemblies, PCB assemblies, and box and power distribution builds, supporting markets such as medical, military, semiconductor, and defense. You will work with hand tools, crimp tools, pneumatic tools, soldering equipment, solder pots, microscopes, and assembly-line equipment while assembling and inspecting cables, harnesses, and PCB-related products. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards, with work often performed at a bench and under a microscope for extended periods to complete detailed, fine-pitch tasks.
