POSITION SUMMARY

The Teller I serves as a primary front‑line representative of Montana Credit Union, delivering accurate, professional, and member‑focused service through in‑branch, drive‑thru, and Personal Teller Machine (PTM) interactions. This position is responsible for processing routine financial transactions, maintaining cash balancing accuracy, and assisting members with day‑to‑day account needs while ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and operational excellence. Working knowledge of cash handling and balancing procedures. Proficiency with core computer systems and comfort working with technology, including PTMs and digital banking tools. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Ability to read, interpret, and follow policies and procedures accurately. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify alternative solutions.Ability to maintain positive working relationships with members and coworkers. Ability to work effectively in a member‑facing environment, including operating PTMs in a secure or enclosed setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior cash handling and/or customer (member) service experience preferred.
