This role will support daily treasury operations while also performing core accounting functions such as reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will bridge treasury systems and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, control, and timely financial reporting./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliServe as a primary user and subject matter expert for the AMB Accounting platform./liliPerform daily cash positioning, monitoring, and liquidity reporting./liliExecute and review payments, sweeps, and intercompany funding transactions./liliSupport bank account administration, bank connectivity, and payment setups within AMB./liliAssist with cash forecasting and variance analysis./liliMaintain treasury-related controls and support within audit requests./liliPrepare and post journal entries related to cash, bank activity, and treasury transactions./liliPerform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and cash account reconciliations./liliSupport month-end and quarter-end close processes./liliAssist with balance sheet account reconciliations and flux analysis./liliEnsure accurate classification and recording of treasury and cash-related transactions in the general ledger./liliSupport external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations./liliAct as a liaison between Treasury, Accounting, IT, and banking partners./liliAssist with system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and documentation related to AMB and ERP integrations./liliIdentify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and internal controls./liliDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures for treasury and accounting activities./li/ulpRequirements/pulliBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field./lili36 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or staff accounting./liliHands-on experience with the AMB platform (required)./liliSolid understanding of cash accounting, bank reconciliations, and month-end close./liliExperience working with banking portals, payment systems, and treasury controls./liliStrong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and reconcile complex data./liliProficiency in Excel and financial systems./liliExperience in a multi-entity or global finance environment./liliExposure to ERP systems and treasury system integrations./liliPrior involvement in treasury system implementations or enhancements./liliCPA or progress toward CPA plus; CTP a plus./li/ulpWhy Join CAKE Mortgage?/pulliBe part of a fast-growing company changing the game in Non-QM./liliCompetitive compensation and performance-based bonuses./liliCollaborative and entrepreneurial culture./liliOpportunities for career advancement and innovation./li/ulpCake Mortgage does not tolerate discrimination of any type.
