Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring L&D experience and the ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections.

Details

• Women's Services unit with 10 LDR beds, 2 ORs, and 2 triage beds
• 7A-7P shift schedule over a 13-week assignment
• Follows AWHONN patient ratio guidelines
• Uses updated HillRom and GE equipment
• Documentation via Expanse EMR with monitoring in CPN
• Rotating weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Required certifications: NRP (Advanced 9th Edition), AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced) or NCCEFM, BLS, ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Labor and Delivery experience required
• Must be able to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
• Labor with postpartum experience preferred
• Triage experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide care for labor and delivery patients including postpartum couplet care
• Join an energetic team supporting a growing unit
• Scrubs for the surgical area are provided by the unit
• Must adhere to Methodist Maternal and Neonatal policies
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
