Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Job Overview We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform general maintenance, hydraulic, electrical, and welding tasks (TIG, MIG). The role requires compliance with Safety, GMP, and ISO 14001 standards. Compensation & Benefits Competitive starting pay: $22.50/hr – $35.50/hr, plus 3rd Shift differential. Comprehensive health insurance and retirement benefits are provided. Education benefit available on eligibility. Responsibilities Complete daily preventive maintenance (PM) tasks. Keep production lines in good mechanical order. Aid Production and Quality teams as needed. Always follow GMP and safety practices. Set up, visually inspect, and test machinery and equipment. Listen for unusual sounds, diagnose malfunction, and coordinate repairs. Dismantle defective machines, install new or repaired parts. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other components. Repair and maintain physical structure of the facility. Follow ISO 14001 procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with 1+ year related experience, or 4 years of direct experience in industrial mechanical maintenance. Vocational or associate degree from a technical maintenance school (preferred). Ability to function effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels. Experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklift, genie lift, scissor lift). Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions. Read/write work orders, produce daily reports, translate equipment manuals. Work Environment & Physical Demands Plant includes wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. Noise moderate to loud. Typical lifts up to 75 lbs, regular lifts up to 50 lbs using buddy system or lifting devices.
