Document Imaging Specialist

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are expanding our Imaging Production Team and are looking for dynamic, hard-working individuals to join us! We currently have Document Imaging Specialist positions available at our Las Cruces, NM location.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. We are looking for individuals that are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and fast learners to join our fantastic team.Imaging Specialist’s have a wide range of responsibilities and is a vital asset to the Imaging Production Team and American Document Services. The primary function of this position is to perform document preparation and scanning tasks.Responsibilities:Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning – document preparationScan hard copy files to electronic images, assuring a quality imageFollow production procedures and completing internal documentation & trackingAdhere to Imaging Center guidelines of maintaining a clean, safe work environmentOther duties as specified by Supervisor/ManagerQualifications:Familiarity with Windows based PC and Cannon or similar scanning equipment.Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English.Detail-orientedSelf-MotivatedMust be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.The ability to remove staples, sort, file, and box records.Must be able to maintain record order and sequence.Must be able to understand the importance of detail and accuracy.Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality workMust be acceptable of change and long durations of project assignments.Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Education / Experience: High School / 2 yearsLeadership and/or document imaging experience a plusAmerican Document Services is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, marital status, age, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected classifications in making employment decisions.\nCompany DescriptionAmerican Document Services manages files, film, tapes, and personal documents for over 1,900 clients.
