CVICU Registered Nurse - Nights

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. This is a secondary contract position focused on providing high-quality care to cardiac surgical patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a CVICU setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-operative care
• Document care activities and patient responses accurately and promptly

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Experience in CVICU, with a focus on open-heart recovery
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
