Maintenance Planner

Real Alloy is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor with responsibilities as the Maintenance Planner at our secondary metal processing plant in Wabash, Indiana.

This position will manage hourly union mobile equipment mechanics and scheduling to assure work is planned and assigned to employees to meet the plant needs. As the Maintenance Planner you will guide the maintenance team by determining predictive maintenance, scheduling of work orders, and ordering material and kitting parts for maintenance projects throughout the plant.

In addition, this role will sustain and improve planning and procurement functions required to efficiently sustain and improve plant equipment following guidelines of all safety, environmental, governmental policies and regulations, and other Real Alloy policies.

This is a Monday-Friday day shift position. Overtime required as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

• 5+ years of related industrial experience, including planning, maintenance, and direct supervision.
• Technical and managerial skills are required in this position, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must possess strong decision making and critical thinking skills including the ability to solve problems while exhibiting practical judgment and realistic understanding of the issues involved.
• Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is required.
• Working knowledge of aluminum processes is a plus.
