Position Summary
We are currently hiring Caregivers at level III based on experience. All caregivers will provide compassionate, person-centered care tailored to each client’s individualized service plan.
Caregiver Level Required:
- Level III (Advanced): 5+ years of experience, leadership potential, and/or experience in specialized care (e.g., dementia, hospice)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Transferring, mobility assistance, and ambulation
- Meal preparation and feeding support
- Support clients in maintaining a proper diet and hydration
- Engage clients in leisure and social activities to promote well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks:
- Laundry, vacuuming, dishes, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom and kitchen cleaning
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized home environment
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and client requests
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes to supervisors
- Work cooperatively with team members and participate in ongoing training
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong Spanish communication with clients along with interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle physical aspects of caregiving, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Willingness to follow care plans and adapt to client needs
- Respect for client confidentiality and dignity
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physical ability to perform caregiver duties
- Fluent Spanish Speaking
Preferred Experience by Level
- Level III: 5+ years of experience; skilled in specialized care (e.g., dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice); may mentor junior caregivers.
