Advanced LPN / RN Pediatric Care Specialist

Join a dedicated clinical team providing compassionate healthcare and patient management in a pediatric physician office setting. Your daily tasks will adapt to the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring quality care and support for young patients and their families.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, maintaining awareness of normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients.
• Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines, including telephone triage and patient reassurance with clear, accurate education.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and relevant medical history, and communicate any abnormal findings to the physician promptly.
• Support physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints, managing medication samples, and coordinating referrals and testing.
• Ensure patient understanding of discharge instructions and treatment plans, distributing educational materials and assisting with medication guidance.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education resources, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the clinical team.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Nursing Program.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current nursing license valid in the state of Indiana.

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
