We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer. The Senior Salesforce Developer is the technical authority on the organization's Salesforce platform, spanning Sales, Service, and Community Clouds as well as connected systems such as Pardot and Five9. This is a hands-on, senior individual-contributor role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex Salesforce solutions while providing technical leadership and mentorship to onshore team, and if applicable, offshore admin and developer resources.

This person partners directly with the Commercial Organization Center of Excellence (COE) and business stakeholders across Sales & Marketing, Business Intelligence, Customer Success, Technology, and the Contact Center to define technical strategy, own the day-to-day health and evolution of the Salesforce instance, and execute against the established Salesforce DevOps roadmap, including release management, deployment processes, and environment/sandbox management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as lead technical architect for the Salesforce platform, designing and developing, and delivering customized solutions (Apex, Lightning Components/LWC, Flows, etc.) that support critical business functions and cross-departmental project objectives.
• Own and execute advanced platform initiatives, including Globalization of client-facing Production Setup Order (PSO) form, advanced workflow enhancements, and upcoming AI initiatives.
• Design, build, and support system integrations with third-party platforms, including Pardot/Salesforce marketing-sales sync, Five9 telephony/CTI integration for the Contact Center, internal MARCS integration, survey tool integrations, and potential future integrations.
• Provide technical oversight and code review for enhancements, bugs, and deployments; partner with Salesforce Admin/s on Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and DevOps processes.
• Design and implement solutions based on the DevOps roadmap including QA. release management, deployment processes, and environment/sandbox management.
• Manage and triage the monthly ad hoc queue of development and enhancement requests, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery back to the business.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and the Contact Center to gather requirements, propose solutions, and translate business needs into scalable technical designs — including regional enhancements (e.g., PSO configuration for Canada and the UK).
• Provide day-to-day system administration support for internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments, including custom objects, workflow/automation, security settings, Salesforce related UAM escalations, or Jira integration issues.
• Own executing long-term platform improvement and stability initiatives to ensure the Salesforce instance scales with evolving business requirements.
• Act as an escalation point for complex Salesforce support cases requiring deep platform knowledge, supporting the Salesforce Admin team as needed.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with business stakeholders and COE leadership on project status, technical tradeoffs, and future platform capabilities.
• Research emerging Salesforce features and technologies and review Salesforce release notes to recommend how they can be leveraged to improve business processes or how they will impact our business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with demonstrated progression into architecture, integration, and technical-execution.
• Experience in Salesforce best practices across the platform, including adaptation of third-party tools.
• Deep expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce UI frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with designing, building, and overseeing Salesforce Flows, customizations, complex processes, pipeline management, and platform automation tools.
• Experience with system integrations, including telephony/CTI platforms (e.g., Five9) and marketing automation (e.g., Pardot).
• Solid understanding of Salesforce security architecture in an enterprise org.
• Working knowledge of microservices, Function-as-a-Service, and RESTful API development.
• Exposure to Conga, MIAW Chat, Gearset preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Current/active Platform Developer I & II certifications. Application, System and/or Technical Architect certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of business structures and how to effectively implement them in a CRM tool so the solution is effective and easy to use
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated track record of working effectively as part of a team
• Analytical, decision-making, critical thinking and management skills
• Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

The salary range for this position in $110,000 to $140,000 and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.
