QA EngineerDurham NCContractHigh-level requirements:BS or above in Computer Science or related field7+ years of professional Testing/Development experience involving UI and API Automation/Development using JavaScript/JavaVerifiable experience using Cypress, Selenium, or other testing frameworks in a large, enterprise environmentExperience with Agile Scrum methodology desired.Ability to investigate, isolate, and solve technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologiesExperience testing Vue/Angular based UI with a strong understanding of RESTful web servicesExperience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plusExperience with Code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent)Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organizationWork in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve team goalsA desire and skills for learning innovative technologiesPrevious experience using business requirements to craft, develop and maintain test plans, test cases.Following standard methodologies for testing UI apps and REST API’sExpertise with Cucumber/BDDAbility to make recommendations on how to best include test automation into pipelinesWork as part of team of SDET’s focused on automation and build reusable artifactsA learning demeanor to your work and are eager to master and adopt new technologiesThrive working in an Agile environment, and believe in the value of t-shaped squad membersDefining and developing a suite of automation tests for our CogStoreWorking closely with product owners, developers, and businessRapid prototyping to validate good and bad ideas quicklyWriting source code, adapting existing components, and testing developed componentsEnsuring designs meet performance, security, usability, and reliability and scalability requirements
