Leasing Specialist - downtown Raleigh

Position: Leasing Specialist for The Edison Lofts - downtown Raleigh, NC Role Overview As a Leasing Specialist , your primary focus is to lease apartment-homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver exceptional customer service to meet the ongoing needs of current residents. Competitive hourly rate + monthly commission + quarterly bonus + 20% rent discount (if needed) + company events + paid training and certifications + health/dental/vision/401K. Most Important Responsibilities Build rapport with prospects to lease apartments in a competitive market. Manage the queue daily to follow up with any leads. Provide stellar customer service to our current residents. Plan social events for our residents to create a fun experience. Display professionalism and poise, even when things get difficult. Take ownership of issues and help problem-solve throughout the day. Understand our product in the market and be able to articulate its value. Collaborate with your team to satisfy the unique needs of prospects and residents. Most Important Qualifications Leasing experience strongly preferred Must be willing to work 2-3 Saturdays per month (still enjoy 40 hours per week) Vehicle and driver's license Ability to "sell"/lease apartments in a competitive market Self-motivation and drive quick on your feet with a strong work ethic Market knowledge relative to Raleigh a plus People skills, ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs so you can build rapport and trust Charisma, must be likeable to prospects and residents.
