Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Alarm Response in Gallatin, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving post offers the opportunity to support critical operations while communicating clearly, acting with integrity, and collaborating with a reliable, caring Allied Universal team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government-operated utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for entry, following established site procedures for visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
