Registered Nurse - Critical Access Facility

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a critical access facility. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a 18-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring vital signs.
• Manage dysrhythmias and collaborate with the healthcare team for patient care plans.
• Perform wound care and manage surgical drains as needed.
• Utilize telemetry for on-unit monitoring and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE usage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2+ years of experience in a nursing role.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required (can be obtained on-site within the first week).
• Valid nursing license must be in hand prior to start; pending licenses will not be accepted.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and telemetry is preferred.
