CNA - LTC


Job Details:


• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday expectations
• RN shift times: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• MA shift times: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM; Wednesday 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM; Friday 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
• No floating to other units or departments
• Up to 2 weeks of orientation provided depending on experience
• Patient types include pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Services include wellness visits, sick visits, vaccinations, minor procedures (suture removals), INR, IUDs, Nexplanon, and hypertension clinic
• Facility sees 200-300 patients per day with Mondays averaging 400+ patients
• RN responsibilities include patient education for hypertension and insulin injections, triaging with established protocols, rooming patients, vitals, and medication reconciliation
• MA responsibilities include administering injections (vaccines, Depo, testosterone, Toradol, Rocephin), calling patients with normal test results, obtaining A1Cs, rooming patients, vitals, history, medication reconciliation, setting up for cultures and pap smears, obtaining EKGs, and ear lavages
• MA must have pediatric experience, especially with administering pediatric vaccines
• MA will be assigned to a specific provider but may work with other providers or a chiropractor as needed and may provide scheduling support
• Required certifications: BLS (for both RN and MA)
• EMR: Ambulatory EPIC - preferred for RN, required for MA
• Family practice experience required for MA
• RN requires minimum 2 years of experience with clinic experience preferred
• Scrub color: Any solid color
• Free parking available on site


Facility:


This outpatient family medicine clinic operates with a robust team of 8 providers including MDs, PAs, and NPs, supported by RNs, MAs, and patient service representatives. The facility offers a wide range of services including family practice, wellness visits, minor procedures, and a hypertension clinic led by RNs. An on-site lab and phlebotomy department, as well as a separate urgent care unit, complement the comprehensive care provided to patients of all ages.
