Sterile Processing Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday - Friday, with one weekend every four weeks.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Technician. The ideal candidate will work with a focus on sterilization and decontamination processes, maintaining a sterile environment essential for patient safety and supporting surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart duties.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a strong ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently.
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Be available for overtime and occasional weekend shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Certification from CBSPB or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) is required.
• Previous experience in a trauma center environment is preferred.
• Strong skills in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart preparation.
• Minimal or no requested time off during the assignment is expected.
