About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Location

Spokane, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Block Schedule Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, including floor care, emergency room, code response, and rapid response situations
• Float between units as needed to meet patient care demands
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:11
• Participate in every other weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Block schedule commitment required
• All time-off requests and scheduling needs must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care setting, including Level II Trauma or pediatric trauma environments
• Familiarity with floor care, ER, and rapid/code response protocols
• Prior experience charting in Epic
