Details Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital with 11 ORs located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building Patient ratio of 1:1 Uses a variety of OR beds and equipment, including Xi Robotic surgical systems Epic EMR is used Schedule consists of three twelve-hour shifts, with weekend availability preferred On-call is required, averaging 5-6 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call shift per 8-week sign-up period No floating required Requirements Active Alaska RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Experience in Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics surgical procedures required Experience as a circulator required Experience as a Scrub preferred CNOR certification preferred Additional Information Serve as a patient advocate in the circulator role while acting as a resource for the sterile field Typical procedures include Total Joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General) Minimal ENT, Dental, Eye, or Plastics procedures performed on this unit Day shift team typically includes an average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub Techs, and 5 Surgical Support Techs Night shift is staffed by one charge RN and one scrub tech in-house with call team backup Facility provides scrubs Ideal candidates have a positive outlook and work well with team members Local candidates are not accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions American Traveler Job ID P-747483.
